WildThings

I finally got to blend two of my passions - stained glass and children's books, into one project. One of my favorite books, Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak, was the inspiration for my piece entitled, 'Rumpus.'

I started this project back in November (2009) and finished in February (2010), just too many hours to count. There are 557 pieces (at least until I lost track) of cut glass, 4 lbs of solder, and 2 rolls of copper foil.
